My artwork embraces a deep love of materials, architecture, engineering, geometry and a reverence for the ever-changing organic natural world. There is something very beautiful about letting certain materials be – let the rust, cracks, veins and knots show as they have a story to tell.

In addition to this, I have sought to convey a sense of order and precision by employing calculated, constructed linear and geometric forms that offset these organic elements. It is my hope that this combination and use of materials will allow the viewer to contemplate places, events, people, etc. while paying tribute to the reverence and beauty of God’s incredible handwork and the ever-changing, sometimes harsh natural world we live in.
